As a driving instructor, I provide patient, personalized, and practical instruction to help you become a safe, confident driver. Whether you're a first-time driver, a driver looking to prepare for the road test, a nervous adult getting back behind the wheel, or someone looking to improve specific driving skills, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals.

Not everyone seeking driving guidance is a brand-new driver. Many adults already have a license but need support rebuilding comfort and confidence behind the wheel.
Through Zen, Drive & Thrive I offer supportive driving lessons designed for adults who feel anxious about driving, are returning after a long break, or are working through fear following an accident or injury.
These sessions are booked using the same lesson packages listed below.
Lessons are offered 7 days a week, with standard lesson start times available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
To accommodate busy schedules, limited early morning and evening sessions may also be available upon request, depending on scheduling availability and the student’s driving goals.
Lessons scheduled outside standard operating hours are subject to an additional flat scheduling fee per lesson.
Each lesson is tailored to support steady progress, confidence behind the wheel, and practical real-world driving experience.
Extended-hours scheduling fee: $20 per lesson outside standard operating hours.
Recommended Session Length
Most students choose 90-minute sessions for deeper practice time and stronger progress between lessons.
Rates include pick-up/drop-off within a 15-mile radius of Wesley Chapel, FL 33543.
Travel beyond 15 miles is available up to 25 miles for an additional $2 per mile.

Optional DMV Support Services
These are optional add-ons for students who would like additional guidance and convenience on test day.
Pickup and drop-off transportation to and from the DMV is available for students within a 30-minute drive of the Wesley Chapel DMV (Pet Lane location).
This is an additional convenience service that covers instructor travel time for pickup, transportation to the DMV, and return drop-off after the test, and is charged in addition to the $95 vehicle use fee.

Students must hold a valid Learner’s Permit or Driver's License as applicable to their instruction needs, and have it present during every lesson.

Students must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions provided during lessons. Instruction may be adapted to meet individual learning needs when appropriate. This may include additional explanation, repetition, pacing adjustments, or other teaching approaches to help students feel comfortable and successful behind the wheel.
Students should arrive prepared, alert, and ready to safely participate in driving instruction.
Student Agreement Required
All students must review the Student Agreement before scheduling lessons. This document outlines important policies, expectations, payment and cancellation policies, and safety requirements.
By signing the Student Agreement Acknowledgement at the first lesson, students confirm that they have reviewed the full agreement, understand the policies and expectations, and have had an opportunity to ask any questions before signing.
I understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please reach out by text or email as soon as possible.
To provide every student with dedicated lesson time, cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Students are expected to be ready to begin at their scheduled lesson time. Detailed information regarding arrival procedures, late arrivals, no-shows, instructor delays, refunds, and other scheduling policies is provided in the Student Agreement, which must be reviewed and signed prior to the first lesson.

Yes! I am a Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) certified driving instructor. Zen, Drive & Thrive, LLC is a FLHSMV certified Driving School.
The number of lessons needed varies from person to person, depending on their experience, confidence, and skill level. Some learners may only need a few sessions to refine their skills, while others benefit from more practice. During our sessions, I assess your driving ability and provide guidance on when you might be ready to take the road test.
No. Lessons are conducted in the Zen, Drive & Thrive training vehicle, which is equipped with a passenger-side brake and is commercially insured for driving instruction. This allows students to learn in a safe, controlled environment without needing to provide their own vehicle.
Pick-up and drop-off for lessons are provided at your home. Initially, lessons take place within your neighborhood or nearby areas. As you progress, and depending on your experience, goals, and comfort level, we will gradually move on to busier roads and highways, as appropriate.
Absolutely! I work with both teens and adults. Whether you're learning to drive for the first time, preparing for your road test, returning to driving after a long break, or simply looking to feel more comfortable behind the wheel, lessons are tailored to your experience and goals.
Yes. In fact, helping students become more comfortable and confident behind the wheel is a big part of what I do. I take the time to meet students where they are, work at a pace that makes sense for them, and gradually introduce more challenging driving situations as their confidence grows.
Yes. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I do my best to adapt my instruction when appropriate. This may include additional explanation, repetition, pacing adjustments, or approaching a skill in a different way to help the student understand and feel more comfortable.
Every student is different, so there isn't one number that works for everyone. For a brand-new driver with little or no experience, I generally recommend starting with the 5-lesson package so we have enough time to build a strong foundation and see how the student progresses. From there, I can make recommendations based on their individual needs and goals.
For most students, I recommend lessons be scheduled one to two times a week when availability allows. If not, then I recommend once a week at minimum. Consistent practice helps students build skills and confidence without allowing too much time to pass between lessons. That said, scheduling can be adjusted based on the student's availability, goals, and current skill level.

Yes. I offer DMV road-test and support for students who meet the requirements for this service. The service includes use of the instructor vehicle and support before and during the road-test process. Students using this service must meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Wesley Chapel DMV located at Pet Lane, so there is time for vehicle adjustments, a brief pre-test review, and preparation before the DMV opens at 8:30 a.m.

I primarily serve Wesley Chapel and surrounding areas within my standard service area to include parts of Dade City, New Tampa, San Antonio, Tampa, and Zephyrhills.
